O Shaughnessy Estate Winery Cabernet Sauvignon Mount Veeder 2012 
Stor och elegant doft av mogna, röda bär, söta kryddor, eukalutus, lavendel, örter, ceder och lakrits. Smaken är fyllig och nyanserad med en koncentrerad fruktighet. Tanninerna är mjukt avrundade och eftersmaken är mycket lång. Kan lagras i upp till 25 år.

Fantastiskt inbjudande och aromatisk doft av mogna körsbär, mullbär, viol, choklad, kaffebönor och ceder. Smaken är komplex och fyllig med en fin balans mellan tanninerna och den pigga syran. Eftersmaken är lång och aromatisk. Kan lagras i upp till 25 år.


Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou 2010
Doften är komplex, koncentrerad och ännu ung med toner av mörk frukt, örter och ceder. Smaken är balanserad med tydliga tanniner och syra och en mycket lång eftersmak som skvallrar om den långa framtid som detta vin har till mötes. Kan lagras i upp till 30 år.

Angelo Gaja Sori Tildin 2011
Doften är koncentrerad och ung med inslag av både röda och mörka bär, viol, tomat, tryffel, torkade kryddor, animaliska toner och fat. Smaken är fyllig och djup med strama tanniner, fantastisk syra och ungdomligt kompakt frukt. Lång, elegant och komplex eftersmak. Kan lagras i upp till 25 år.


Chateau Pavie 2009
Doften är stor, komplex och ännu ung med inslag av mörka bär, örter, animaliska toner, blå blommor och ceder. Smaken är fyllig och kompakt med tydliga tanniner och syra; det här vinet är fortfarande i sin ungdom. Smaken är mineraldriven och mycket lång. Kan lagras i upp till 35 år.

The classic wet rock, creme de cassis, subtle oak and gravelly stoniness of the vineyard come through in this spectacular, full bodied, gorgeously pure and intense effort. Wine of the Year: Nr. 1 på James Sucklings Top 100 av 10000 provade viner 2014 : "The nose is phenomenal in this wine. It makes my head spin with so much beautiful perfumes of violets, lavender, sandalwood, mineral, dried fruits, figs. Full body, with phenomenal depth of fruit that gives layers of structure and richness. I am amazed. This is a wine to try in 2020 but so impressive now. This is the Harlan of Argentina but from malbec instead of cabernet sauvignon. This is a good as it gets for malbec. Its not only a perfect wine, but also represents the greatness of the wines of Argentina, which offer incredible excitement at every level of wine drinking. I went to Argentina twice this year and I was amazed what I discovered. This is a country that is clearly on the fast track to making wines that compete with the best of the world.... Drinking a bottle of the Vina Cobos Malbec Perdriel Lujan de Cuyo Cobos 2011 is certainly a unique experience. What intrigues me is how it is so rich and intense while remaining lively, almost electrifying. It is so aromatic and not just super fruity, with floral and wet earth character buttressing the pure fruit. Its structure reminds me of great vintages of Napa Valleys Harlan while an underlying tension gives it form and liveliness. Its already closing down since the first time I tasted it but this is a good sign for any great wine at this stage in its evolution. 500 cases made. "

"An absolutely brilliant wine, the 2011 Sorì Tildìn bristles with energy, precision and tension. In this vintage the higher altitude of Sorì San Tildìn vis-à-vis Costa Russi comes through loud and clear. Freshly cut flowers, small red berries, mint, white pepper and crushed rocks are all very much alive in a striking, nuanced Sorì Tildìn that expresses both the class of this site and the generosity of the year."

"Bottled the week before I arrived, the 2009 Pavie appears to have barely budged since I tasted it two years ago. Many experts consider this phenomenal terroir to be nearly as great as that of Ausone. Made from a classic blend of 60-70% Merlot, 20-25% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, this inky/blue/purple-colored blockbuster reveals wonderful notes of blackberries, crushed rocks, roasted meats, spring flowers, cedar, blueberries, graphite and a hint of vanillin. With extravagant fruit and high extract as well as a hint of minerality, this structured, massively intense effort is typical of all the luxurious, perfect or nearly perfect Pavies produced under the Perse regime (which began in 1998). While built for 40-50 years of cellaring, the softness of the vintage and its flamboyant style is slightly less apparent in the 2009 Pavie than in some of the other Perse wines. Anticipated maturity: 2020 to 2050+. "

"This is massively rendered, with powerful notes of dark fig, currant and blackberry fruit intertwined with ganache, maduro tobacco and tar. Yet the overall impression is both polished and driven, with a buried graphite edge and lingering spice notes that hint at the reward for extended cellaring. Its amazing to see the results when ambition and execution are equal. Best from 2020 through 2040."
